MB Ukraine emergency fund, new projects for refugees in Brianza

There have been many local initiatives of all types since February 24, 2022 (the day of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine) in favor of Ukrainian refugees. The situation is different if we talk about the projects that are still active today and continue their activity with new humanitarian projects.

This is the case of Ukraine Emergency Fund MB of the non-profit organization “Foundation of the Monza and Brianza community” which is renewing its buildings fundraisers for new projects, which are obviously different compared to the initial emergency.

The purpose of the fund is to help Ukrainian refugees in the Brianza area, in synergy with the associations in the area that manage the widespread reception of those who have had to leave their homes and their homeland.

I new projects which will be financed by the MB Ukraine Emergency Fund have different aspects and are all focused on the integration and psychological improvement of Ukrainian refugees.
The first project is the support for Ukrainian families hosted by the offices of the Eskenosen association in the Monza and Como branches, with the aim of improving their daily organization and their psychological state, for both adults and minors.

The second project concerns the support for the “Friends of Emmaus” association which supports the Kharkiv-based NGO Emmaus Ukraine for refugees in Italy. Also in this case the families welcomed in Italy will be followed on a path to psychological improvement and for a greater one integration into the territory.

The latest project is called “Cozy farmhouse” and is aimed at helping the Ukrainian family unit welcomed at Cascina Cantalupo on a journey of long-term integration, also favoring access to the world of work to create new autonomy in their lives. Socialization projects are also planned for the Ukrainian citizens of the area.
